The third edition of paper positions vienna was hosted from 12 - 15 November 2026 in the impressive halls of the Semper Depot (Studio Building of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna), located in the heart of Vienna, Lehárgasse 8, 1060 Vienna.
paper positions is the only art fair at which the participating galleries present a broad spectrum of high-quality contemporary, modern and 19th century art, giving collectors a concentrated insight into this special artistic medium.
The galleries are given the opportunity to showcase their positions focused on the medium of paper with all its specific features, its fragility and its enormous versatility.
By refraining from a conventional booth set up, paper positions vienna chooses to focus on a salon-like architecture. The limited number of exhibitors also underlines the character of a large themed group exhibition. The spatial design of the fair with the open floorpan enables a more direct approach to the artworks.
At the special stand of our partner Moleskine, visitors were invited to get creative and design their own drawings – spontaneous sketches, small works of art or personal notes, entirely in the spirit of free artistic expression.
